Governance at Folsom Lake College is a collaborative process involving representatives from all constituent groups who engage in open discussion and timely decision-making.

Academic Senate
The Academic Senate serves as the representative voice of faculty with regard to Academic and Professional matters.
Classified Senate
The Classified Senate serves and supports all classified employees by providing leadership roles and professional development activities.
College Administration
College administration are responsible for the maintenance and supervision of the institution.
Associated Students
ASFLC represents the interests and welfare of students through its elected officials and representatives on the Student Senate and Clubs and Events Board.
Participatory Governance Committees
The Participatory Governance committees are responsible for matters relating to college leadership and governance.
