The old adage "History is written by the winners" presents the opportunity for us to ask, "What do the losers get?" Understood as an "unofficial vernacular," memory plays an important role in preserving the past. Join Communication Studies professor, Dr. Michael Eisenstadt, to unpack and explore the slippages between competing variants of the American Dream.
Meet us in the Read for Fun area of the FLC Library for conversation. Tea and good company will be provided.
