About half of FLC students use financial aid to support their way through college. Learn about the different forms of financial aid (promise grants/programs, Cal Grants, Pell Grants), student eligibility to receive such forms of financial aid, what can cause a student to lose eligibility, and the effects of student withdrawal and how it impacts both the student and the institution. In this session we will also examine and disaggregate student data to determine outcomes of students who have lost financial aid eligibility. This session will be informative and it will inspire more thought about the needs and challenges of our diverse students.
Facilitated by Jill Bradshaw, Emelia Michels-Ratliff, Ali Padash, and Eric Wada
